I have a few Kipling bags but I wanted a large one which was suitable for going out for the day and could hold many things like reading material, umbrella, purse, make up, water etc. This bag fits the bill perfectly. It is not too large like a kipling shopper or tote bag but is comfortable to carry around when out and about. I like the zip at the front as I can keep my oyster card in it when travelling. It is, however, a bit large for a party or where glamour is required. Escape grey as a colour is almost black. I do not use the shoulder strap as the bag fits neatly over my shoulder anyway. A very useful large bag.
